Her Fingers touch my skin in desperation
Trying ignite a spark that was once there between us
But my body lies still , cold
and tampered
Her tears trickle down
across territory that only she knew
I turn my body away from her
And yet it remains still, cold and tampered
As I recoil at the betrayal of her words and at the memory of how I used to feel when her fingers touch my skin
Consumed, warm and inviting.
