Today I am missing someone

Someone who gave me purpose to get up in the morning

and face the chores of the day

Someone who’s touch and kisses are now all too quickly

fading into sweet memories

Someone who’s  beauty  charmed me

and  kindness always  protected me from harm

Someone who’s love was my saviour

Today I am missing her
